Greetings and a Big Welcome to Helping Animals Heal!

A little bit about myself:

As early as I can remember I experienced providing hands on therapeutic healing or "energy medicine". Growing up, I used my ability and awareness to help others heal themselves through the helping profession. In my later years I adopted two stray dogs from my native home country, Spain. This became the catalyst to apply this hands healing gift-that we all have- through Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key), and became an Honours Certified Reiki Practioner for Animals.

Myths about Reiki:

It will mess up my pet's energy or improved state

• Reiki is only an energy healing treatment that allows an even energetically balanced animal to help care and heal itself more efficiently when relaxed.

It is like massaging

• While both are systems of natural healing that focuses on body energy and encourages the free flow of the body’s own energies, a massage is vigorous and focused on the physical body loosening muscles and joints. Reiki on the other hand focuses on the animal's energy system, where hands on or off or from a distance are applied.

So what is Reiki?

When we automatically touch that spot that hurts, such as a stomachache or headache-we are transferring healing energy to ourselves

It is our Life Source Energy that is a part of our genetic structure that energizes us our mind, body and spirit

Science has proven this Energy in Kirlian Photography that captures electrical discharges around our body

We access it when doing Yoga, Tai Chi, meditation, to list a few, which provides wellness and inner contentment from daily stress and crisis

Some Western faiths have called this Energy the Holy Ghost; Buddisim call it Ki, and some medical professional bodies see it as Alternative or Oriental Medicine for example

Reiki has been around since the beginning of time

• Shortens healing process of ailment

• To calm animal before adoption, abandoned dogs fearful of touch

• Relieve pain after surgery or of birthing mother

• Lessen pain of chronic physical ailments

• Healing of past trauma of abuse, accident, loss

• Improve behavioral, emotional and mental health concerns for better quality of life

Reiki Session includes:

• 1 hour · $60+ per hour depending on type of Reiki provided

• An assessment of pet with a full report of before and after results

• Half hour or more or reiki provided dependent on animal

• Depending on distance, costs may not include travel expenses.
